Fashion Blogger Profile: Wendy of Wendy’s Lookbook
Thursday, July 5, 2012 — In case you’re not familiar with who this fabulous fashionista is (besides insanely well put together), Ms. Wendy Nguyen of Wendy’s Loobook (http://www.wendyslookbook.com/) is slaying the scene! Wendy’s blog is strictly style shots and she uses her platform to display her wide-ranging wardrobe: from romantic, airy looks, to boyfriend chic, to racy utilitarian.
How to build your wardrobe: One things that people with great style have in common is that they don’t follow the trends. Building a wardrobe that will stand the test of time and always leave you with something to wear (fit for any occassion), requires having a foundation of the classics (the little black dress, a wrap dress/print dress, a shift dress that transitions from work to evening, oxfords, a sleek black pants suit that can function as separates, various blouses, and a few different cuts of blue jean pants), then adding on to these by investing in other unique and interesting finds that exhibit your personal sense of style. In this case, Wendy’s classic pieces the white boyfriend blouse, the orange shift dress, the 3/4-length-sleeved striped coat (which I adore), and the polka dot blouse.
