Nolcha Fashion Week Menswear: Pretty Green collection
Friday, October 12, 2012 — Bold knit sweaters stole the scene on the runway of PrettyGreen at the Nolcha Menswear show. The show kicked off with the bright and colorful square detail knit. I just love the colors and the design of this sweater. This amazing piece was paired with laid back light wash demin, a pink shirt, and converse sneakers. This look says calm, cool, collected, and stylish.
Other great sweaters from this collection was a beautiful yellow knit sweater and a navy blue sweater with red chevron detail on the top and white diamond detail on the bottom. Both were again paired with denim and converse.
Aside from sweaters, jackets of all styles and materials came down the runway. There was an incredible leather trench that was paired with a colorful paisley scarf. I love the mix of masculine and feminine in this look. There were two wind breakers that will make you wish it was rainy just so you can look at the details. My favorite jacket was the army green trench that closed the show. I love the length, color, and simplicity of this garment.
The PrettyGreen SS2013 collection was laid back, stylish, and can easily be added to any man’s closet. I cannot wait to see chunky knit sweaters and long army green trenches on the streets next Spring.
A black and white stripped suit added a business piece to the collection.
